WHAT IS BOULDERING
Bouldering is a form of rock climbing that is performed on small rock formations or artificial rock walls without the use of ropes or harnesses. While bouldering can be done without any equipment, most climbers use climbing shoes to help secure footholds, chalk to keep their hands dry and to provide a firmer grip, and bouldering mats to prevent injuries from falls. Unlike free solo climbing, which is also performed without ropes, bouldering problems (the sequence of moves that a climber performs to complete the climb) are usually less than 6 meters (20 ft.) tall. Traverses, which are a form of boulder problem, require the climber to climb horizontally from one end to another. Artificial climbing walls allow boulderers to climb indoors in areas without natural boulders. In addition, bouldering competitions take place in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Yes, you can! Climbing is exciting new way to get your body moving. Bouldering engages your whole body and mind; and as with any such exercise, it is best performed with initial assistance. Please speak to our team to ensure you are informed and prepared for your first session. Our team of skilled instructors will guide you through your fist lesson. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BOULDERING?
Bouldering is a full body exercise; as such, it had tremendous positive effects on your physical performance. You will get stronger, your endurance will increase and your stamina will improve too. Bouldering, while total body workout, will nicely shape up your upper body, without adding too much bulk to the top. Your lower body will increase in flexibility, improved muscle use and static and dynamic range of movement.
Bouldering is also a very social activity; you will meet lots of friendly people that climbers definitely are! Working on new relationships and climbing together is a super awesome way to spend time while being fit!
